Day 7

Subject: [firstname]: Don't just get views and likes

Hey [firstname]!

Getting people to view and like your social media posts is only half the game. You also need to get people to engage with your content. When you encourage people to do this, they'll have a good reason to come back and visit your posts, go to your website and buy your products or services. Have surveys and quizzes. Encourage people to share, re-post or retweet your content. The longer you can get people to stay on your social media posts, the more likely they are to take things to the next level.

Wow! We've covered quite a lot over the past week or so. Let's just recap.

We talked about why it's important to define your social media marketing goals. I told you about some social media sites you definitely MUST be on, and how to choose the type of content you find easiest to create. I explained why you should keep the same username across all platforms. We talked about analytics and how you can re-purpose content to enable you to be everywhere at once.

But you know what?

Within the confines of this short e-course, I've only been able to scratch the surface of this fascinating subject. There's a whole bunch of stuff I just haven't had time to tell you about – like the difference between advertising and marketing (contrary to popular belief, they're not he same) and how you can use social media marketing to develop a brand – to name just a couple. I go into them (and a whole lot more) in detail in my guide to social media marketing. It's still available, but I'll be taking it down soon. Grab your copy RIGHT NOW from [link to sales page] and start making the most from your social media marketing efforts.

To your success!
